Distribution and outreach with "Our Bodies, Ourselves"

Establishing an Information Center and library devoted to issues of health and healthcare.

Developing a hot-line devoted to health problems facing women and girls.

Providing training for medical professionals which will include training in patient-physician communication and counseling skills, specific to the problems of women and girls.

Organizing an educational campaign on cervical screening.

Conducting research projects on psychosocial aspects of health in Bulgaria.

Organizing and implementing a network of counseling centers for women in Bulgaria which will supplement medical treatments.  They will provide affordable counseling, including psychosocial counseling, crisis interventions and legal counseling in relation to the newly emerging system of medical insurance.  These networks will also serve to increase social awareness of the problems of women’s health.

Advocating for women's rights in regard to health and reproduction, for preserving abortion rights and assuring adequate medical conditions for them, for assuring equal rights for health-care for women of all ethnic backgrounds in Bulgaria, for increased government funding for the health care needs of the population.
